hello and welcome to centrally park my name is johnny goodtimes i am part owner of the philadelphia phoenix philly's only pro ultimate team and i'm hanging out today with two of the stars of our team uh i'm hanging out with greg martin aka gmart aka the human highlight reel and i am hanging out with james pollard aka jp aka go go gadget arms gentlemen uh good to see you today before we get started wanted to see a little bit of how you guys got into frisbee sports into disc sports to begin with yeah thanks for having us guys um like you said my name is greg martin i got into both disc golf and frisbee ultimate frisbee through my brothers um i played you know like backyard gym class hero disc golf and frisbee i'm in my local park and they always drive me around i was like in fifth grade like yo you're coming with us so i'll just get walked out there and back then the disc is too big for my hand so like go in the end zone and catch it so that's that's where i started and that's where i stayed nice yeah thanks for having us johnny um i started in college we played it like once in high school gym class played ultimate frisbee but then i was a tennis player so i just played it on the side i actually went to school around the corner at philadelphia university so some saturday mornings we come out here with our lids and play around in about an hour it's a nice short course and then working out with him he got me into disc golf during 2020's uh coveted season and just been playing ever since um not not including wintertime it's like actual disc golf season i'll get out like three four times a week i'll play a lot um yeah a lot of my buddies my dad likes to play now so those are there's one five minutes from my house i'll get out there which you can get through pretty quickly par three course you can get through it in 45 minutes to an hour and bang it out real quick so yeah maybe once or twice usually once with him by his local course because i drive we drive out to him so we...
