welcome to round one front nine of pro mix doubles at the 2022 pdga pro worlds this is an xc tier best shot doubles event and we are at the jones supreme courts in emporia kansas i'm andrew fish joined by holly finley thanks so much for joining us these players will be playing the supreme 18 mpo layout for round one it is distanced heavy so we're going to see a lot of heavy hitters out there throwing really long shots and hopefully some really big putts today yeah and on our feature card for round one is last year's champion mason ford and valerie manduano as well as the gannon gannon combination of missy gannon and gannon burr hole one starting off as an island hole if you don't make the island you do have to proceed from the drop zone throwing three so i'd say everyone's looking to get a birdie two here certainly in doubles with two shots at the at the island you want to get on there and once you're on it's a very short putt valerie mandujano starting us off and a very nice filter to park the basket that gives mason free reign to put something chain high huh oh yeah might as well run it if you've got a three foot putt and that's part of the fun of doubles right like you're getting to play with your friends sure but you also get to do some stuff in this event that you wouldn't in a normal tournament that looks a little too right i'm not sure it's going to finish oh look at that leaf and branch assist that was fun and now missy gannon recently the winner of ledgestone this year that's dropping but i feel like it's still going on to the island great shot from missy they've done a really nice job building this up the jones supreme course is uh i guess jones park has overgone several iterations throughout the years and jones supreme uh was the first one to use this island configuration ganon over the top look at this have not seen this shot before for the fans oh just outside of the island but they do have missy short putt for bird oh the pressure gannon did you see him look at everybody like what the all right missy let's see if you...
