now here with a very special guest our course designer out here at swenson park for the otb open mr leonard muse uh leonard welcome and uh off the top yeah spend a lot of time on this design you're a very thoughtful designer i'll toot your horn because i know you won't yeah a lot of positive feedback in the early returns from the nose how does that make you feel oh it's uh it's certainly gratifying um but my palms are even sweatier than before you know i mean the even leading into this sort of felt the adrenaline rush that i used to feel as a competitor is like all right i'm excited but i'm nervous but i'm excited and and the positive feedback has been wonderful but it it just gets me even more revved up like i hope it's as good as it seems to be right so it's raising my expectations too because i design and i'm not 100 sure i'm maybe 80 85 sure that i've hit it right and so we still need to see how it plays to find out for sure but yeah it's and the guys have been so generous in in their praise and i really appreciate it so take me back to um when you found out when uh sean jack or sean mercy first approached you and said hey we're moving the venue from glen eagles which is by the way another one of your legendary designs in the area but you have a whole new track you got to start from scratch kind of what went through your mind and how did you sculpt it into what we're going to see this weekend well i mean first thought was thanks guys for trusting me i i still i just don't take it for granted right it's it's a privilege to do this um designing i've done other stuff in the sport and designing is by far my favorite thing most gratifying thing so just the the honor of them thinking they would like to give me the opportunity again was was a big thing you know i got after right away i mean that weekend i was out here all day both days as soon as i heard about it um you know me i'm very analytical so i right away started checking myself in...
