Northeast Women’s Disc Golf Women’s Symposium (2025 DISC East)
The 2025 Northeast Women's Disc Golf Symposium (DISC East) brings together women from the region to connect and support one another in their passion for disc golf. This year marks the third installment of the event, organized by the board of directors of Northeast Women's Disc Golf. The group includes Julie Fella, co-founder of the organization, as well as Kim Kissle, Shant Tall Jon Bowen Liz Croo, and Liz Saar. State reps and officers from across the Northeast are also in attendance, highlighting their efforts to grow disc golf and support women's participation throughout the year. The symposium highlights notable achievements from the 2024 season, including hosting the largest women's Global event with 100 participants at Maple Hill in May 2024. The event featured a unique two-day format, as well as a "Players Party" on Saturday night with a mini vendor village and DJ entertainment. Although Mother Nature had other plans, the spirit of camaraderie and competition remained strong, with Northeast Women's Disc Golf continuing to compete with their Florida counterparts for top honors.

uh good morning everybody and welcome to the 2025 Northeast Women's disc golf uh disc East Symposium this is our our third year um and it never gets it easier uh but thank you for being here and supporting women's Disc Golf in our area uh we are your board of directors so my name is Jude or Julie fella um and I am the co-founder of Northeast Women's disc golf uh to my right I have Kim Kissle uh to my far left shant tall Jon Bowen Liz croo and Liz Saar and we are your board w W uh and Mindy Lee Fontaine and Katie Grace Dudley who are not with us today uh wow rough start um okay and this we also have a group of State reps and officers so uh we are located pretty centrally um in the center of the Northeast so we do like to uh connect with other women from other northeast states so we meet about four or five times a year virtually to connect and talk about what's going on in their regions and how we can help uh grow disc golf and support them throughout the year so we're going to highlight some things that we feel like we're really proud of for our 2024 season um we again for the second consecutive women's Global cycle we had the largest women's Global event in the world with 100 participants at Maple Hill back in May 2024 so shout out if you were there and I will say there was a surprise Monsoon if you were there you know if you know you know um miserable the first day because we we held this year we was the first year we did it two day tea time so we had one round Saturday one round Sunday we had this vision for this like players party Saturday night with the mini vendor Village we had a DJ glow golf like we had like the party vision and then the monsoon came and much of that Vision didn't happen unfortunately but the one thing I will say and we were like okay like a lot and with the women's Global we often compete with this club in Florida to like have the most the week looking was that your Club yeah we love you guys keep bringing it so we were like...
