all right welcome back we're with the one and only giuliana korver um i just got to start off the top you've had three starts this year on tour you finished all of them in the top ten you are the envy of everybody who thought about it maybe decided to not tour or maybe retired too soon that's gotta be awesome yeah it's a surprise to me this is nothing that i planned um quite frankly i lost my job six weeks ago and it gave me this opportunity i knew i was going to play women's nationals but then it's just grown and i've had so much fun that i'm putting off a job search and i'm going to stay on tour for a while sport's definitely better for that i mean we talked before the otd opened and we talked about the length of that course obviously some similarities out here and you told me it's all just playing golf and that's the most important thing um you know how has that mentality kind of helped you compete against these these amazing women there's just now an fbo um i'm so i didn't have a lot of expectations going into this um i was curious i didn't really expect to be able to be at the top um now i think maybe i can be however this course is a little bit different than otb so at otb there was still a lot of shot shaping there was still a lot of danger water trees there's not as much of that at this course so i do think that this course is going to favor a long thrower more than the otb course did so i don't know i i i felt like i would be able to hold my own at otb um wherever that equilibrium happened to be i didn't know um i'm not a sure in this course you know despite that and obviously there'll be more tournaments throughout the year um do your expectations continue to rise as you said you know you're starting to think like hey i'm still got it well you know i need to be careful with that because um i've gone through this before you know it's fun on the uphill but boy it really doesn't it's not very fun on the downhill um you know i i...
