Joe Feidt on PDGA Hall of Fame, Minnesota Disc Golf & How He Got Into The Sport

Joe Feidt, a PDGA Hall of Famer, shares his insights on disc golf in Minnesota and how he got into the sport. The conversation takes place at the Pro Tour event in his home state, where he's excited to see so many courses nearby. Joe reminisces about meeting Kale Kahle since his college days and recalls the early days of professional disc golf. He praises the talent of other Minnesota-based players, including Katrina Allen. When asked for a pitch on what to expect from visiting Minnesota's disc golf scene, Joe enthusiastically highlights the state's 350+ courses within a short drive of Minneapolis or St. Paul, thanks in part to visionaries like Chuck Kennedy and Chico Mackey. With over 50 courses accessible within half an hour of downtown, Joe explains that it's "amazing" and invites newcomers to experience disc golf in the Twin Cities, from championship holes to scenic putting greens.
