hello everyone and joining us now is our tournament director and jackie morris and jackie you are filling some really big shoes we're at the dynamic disc open formerly known as the glass blown open an event that is beloved by thousands of people now you're the term tournament director talk us through your progression and the different roles you've had here okay yeah well thank you for putting all that pressure on me um yeah i have had several roles with dynamic discs and it's i've been with them for seven years um started out from the bottom now i'm here no yeah i started at the retail store did customer service was the volunteer coordinator managed the store and now i get to fill that those big shoes as the event coordinator um had a lot of help along the way learned a lot but yes taken me seven years to get here in a lot of roles so so i have to ask you know i think about doug bjerkers tournament director of the year and again all the pressures that go along with this event is this something you you wanted to put on your shoulders or was this kind of handed off to you how did that come about the opportunity came up and it is something that i wanted to do i've always had my hands in events i've always wanted to be a part of something bigger than me to make a difference um and so yeah a little bit of both but definitely more that i do want to be doing this and did i also see to immediately sidetrack did i see are you celebrating a birthday is it don't tell us it's today no it's yesterday it was yesterday well happy birthday i think paige pierce maybe and some others were involved in some shenanigans what is that like having so many of these people friends that you've made and acquired throughout the years they're all coming into town it's your birthday week but they're all coming into town what does that mean to you personally it means a lot that yes they're coming here for this event but they also take a little bit of time out just make me feel special this week i don't have a lot of free time you know and that's perfectly fine but...
