hello holland hey brian here with dgn your pdga number is 133547 picked up the game in 2020 i believe joined the pdga and now you're here at your first disc golf pro tour press conference for the dynamic disc open you've gotten good at the game very fast you're here playing it as your job you're hitting the the tour pretty much full time what is the most joyful thing that's happened to you from you know going from your nine to five engineering job to playing disc golf every day and doing what you love i mean the best part really is just getting to compete again um that was something i've always been an athlete i was a volleyball player before i graduated college and so just being able to put my heart and soul into getting better at a sport and then coming out and you know competing has been really really fun now something that i am very fascinated about is how quickly you've learned how to throw very far your distance is up there with the best fpo distance throwers right now and people are talking about you already with how good you are at distance learning how to throw far quickly is something that is talked about by a lot of new players in disc golf what was your process like of learning the distant shot i mean it's pretty simple really you know it was a lot of simple but not easy um i really just you know videoed myself and then i looked at videos of the best throwers uh in the world throwing and i identified the differences in our technique and then you know i i picked one little thing to change in my own form and then i just hammered away at it hours and hours and hours until it became a habit and then i looked at my form again and i fixed the next little thing and it was just doing that over and over and over again um and it's it's still an ongoing process for sure and just for scale you know so people can realize how how much you've put into it roughly on average per week how many hours were you putting into it when you were just starting to gear up to go on tour to go on tour so the...
