hello race fans and welcome to disc golf daily today is Thursday February 22nd we are the podcast that gets you caught up with dis golf growth and news in just 10 minutes if you find something interesting please share it with a friend today is course growth day we talk about how many new courses are in the ground stay tuned tun for that after the news our number one news story The chess.com Invitational starts tomorrow yes the pro tour is back Paul mcbeth's track is going to be played it's going to be a great weekend a world famous track made Popular by Mike Barnett's throw down the mountain events for the past decade most of which Paul McBeth has won by the way yes Paul McBeth will be playing paig Pierce will be playing VIP passes are sold out but general admission tickets are still available Link in the show notes 112 men and 43 women are currently registered for the chess.com Invitational I'm picking Calvin heimberg Matt Oram and Ricky Waki on the men's side Paul McBeth has a lot on his plate in getting this event ready I look for him to be coming back into form over the course of the season with over 20 players rated 10:30 or higher anybody could win on the women's side I'm picking Holland Handley Missy Ganon and own Scoggins and it will be fun to see highlights of Paige's good shots I hope they do some OnCourse interviews with her smiling and chatting it up welcome back Paige there are 10 competitors on the women's side rated between 960 and 980 the parody on the women's side is definitely growing lastly playing in your home state matters a lot look for Morgan and Jordan Linds to make some noise on the broadcast our number two news story the udis top 10 courses number four Alis Golf Center specifically the white course in no Sweden it was designed by kamla grunden Jonas London and Dan Johansson Johansson Terry Miller might make fun of me for that one people from 18 countries came to play the course in 2023 it was a top 10 course in 2020 and then ceased operations for a few years until new owner Vincent schaffler purchased it and wanted to make Al a dis golf Paradise once again in in 2020 the course...
