g'day guys and welcome to Gatekeepers coverage of the 2023 Queensland open presented by disconnection and disc doctor we are at Pine Rivers Park Brisbane in the sunny state of Queensland this coverage has been provided by Rad gatekeeper and disc golf Justice I'm Patty Robinson and in with me today I've got Andrew Ferguson and Tim Bowen we are the tee off podcast back again for some more gatekeeper commentary boys very stoked to be back in the uh in the state of the pineapples me too boys and uh here's some players to watch start around one we've got Aaron Morton Chris Hill Dave Perry and Jade Brady who's on a bit of a tear at the moment Jade he's definitely one to watch for a player from every state there yeah all the states that matter anyway uh plays to watch Dave Perry he's the highest rated coming in at 987 but Chris Hill quite close to him at 98 Fords good stack of plays there Timmy very good stuck players boys whole one Fergie what are we looking at well we're looking at a 205 meter Par Four it's beautiful hold to start off with you teeing off from an elevator pad you want to avoid that Amphitheater on your right hand side and of course the water the hole tightens up towards the basket which is sitting quite precariously on top of his Mound which is uh near the path it's a it's a tough starting hole it's what you want though just Mash one off this elevated tea to start with you can go uh forehand if you want to like uh Aaron here in the wind but most players are going for a massive backhand turnover shot and hoping not to hit that big Amphitheater which is out of bounds now Aaron is your local boy he is uh left hand as you can see but has a very strong flick and backhand game this thing looks absolutely fine nice and safe out in the middle looks like there's a bit of wind out there today this round was very windy and uh chilly as we call him here we'll be showing off the Rask from Caster plus very overstable disc and I bet she's laying on this disc a lot today yeah it was a big uh left to right win wasn't...
