welcome to gatekeeper media's new year's resolutions it is january 9th and today we're going to play the floor is lava this isn't just for children it's for everyone the idea with this game is that we are going to cut half the green off our conception of what's a good shot this is a very straightforward shot for me i feel like i can get up and down pretty routinely here but instead of just saying near the basket i want to be on the right side of the screen now i consider that a win because i'm on the right side of the green inside the circle that's a pretty bad up shot this is the kind of thing that can simulate what it's like when there's a particularly dangerous side of the green whether that's for out of bounds or a slope or obstructions that are near the basket any number of things if you don't have those things on your course this is a way that you can practice being intentional about where to land on a basket to make your next shot as easy as possible so let's get to the right side oh that drifted we'll try a couple forehands too so you win this game when you can put out of your mind the idea of just putting it close to the basket but picking a location whether that's right left front back make it as specific as possible so that you can target a very specific location
