Day 30: You Should Play A One Disc Round | Gatekeeper Media's New Year's Resolutions

Gatekeeper Media's New Year's Resolutions continues as they wrap up January with a classic challenge: a one-disc round. Hosts are putting their trusty disc to the test, experimenting with various straight mid-range shots and pairing them with an unconventional putter for added versatility. The goal is to refine one reliable disc that can handle different types of throws, such as T shots and upshots. This experiment aims to help viewers dial in their own disc selection and discover how a single, well-suited disc can improve their overall performance. By playing a one-disc round, disc golfers can fine-tune their technique, identify areas for improvement, and develop a winning strategy – all thanks to the simplicity and focus of this straightforward approach.

welcome back to gatekeeper media's new year's resolutions it's january 30th we're almost done with the month we're going to finish off with an old classic i'm going to play a one-disc round with a discraft comet you grab whatever straight mid-range from your favorite manufacturer works for you and we're going to make this disc work for us on every single kind of shot i'm also going to bring a putter because i don't see that much utility in putting with a mid-range but i am going to throw every t shot and every upshot with it except when i'm actively trying to make a putt looks like it worked out pretty good let's play it out all right on to the next one the reason to do a one-disc round like this is to really dial in one disc so if you have a tournament coming up and you know you'll be throwing a particular shot several times grab that disc go play a one disc round you might be surprised with how well you can do so you win the game when you can take a disc that was acting squarely for you and turn it into a reliable workhorse try it out see what you can do
