Calvin Heimburg Talks About Taking Time Off, Distance & Throwing Tunnel Shots | OTB OPEN

Calvin Heimburg shares his insights on navigating the challenges of the OTB Open golf course. As a seasoned professional on the pro tour, Calvin discusses how the course's unique layout and design will require players to master not just distance, but also accuracy in their shots. With its fairways and trees expertly utilized to create a low ceiling effect, Calvin believes that rollers will be a common shot for many competitors. Calvin reveals his thought process on approaching the course, highlighting specific sections where execution is crucial. He also shares his thoughts on how the wind may impact gameplay and how players will need to adapt their strategies throughout the tournament. With a mix of difficult part three shots and more accessible parkours, Calvin expects a dynamic week with plenty of opportunities for birdies – but also some challenging holes that will require precision play.
