good day and welcome to a special edition of gatekeeping media's podcast where you're going to hear some Aussie dis golfers talk about all things pro tour my name is Patty Robinson and today is a more of an intimate session with just myself and Tim Bowen mate uh Fergie's living it up on the go Coast so yeah oh it's piss po this be his full-time job at this stage Patty so very disappointing my my note was yeah he's uncharacteristically leaving us to do all the work so but no we've uh we've had a huge weekend of uh disc golf Timmy so Keen to get stuck into it let's get straight into it the open at Austin presented by flight Factory location was Austin Texas 165 players 112 mpo 53 fpo Pro purse of 87K and the bulk of that went to own Scoggin with huge win in Foo 11 shot victory over KT and M mate we have a new winner the first ever Finnish National to win an Elite Series event Nicholas and Tiller yeah unreal historic weekend of disc golf um own with her like dominant performance and we'll get into a few stats in a moment but uh yeah I mean Nicholas has been on the cusp so many times you know um usdgc last week like he's he's just been there and I think in the last pod I I kind of flagged him and said yeah I think he's due and uh yeah you weren't wrong he uh was just like Unstoppable at this course unreal and uh he clutched up when it absolutely mattered down the stretch we'll we'll maybe touch on NBO a little bit later we'll get stuck into the FBO to start things off because we need to talk about own I mean just last week the whole sort of vibe in the Disc Golf Scene was is KT ever going to lose this year yeah is anyone ever going to beat it and all of a sudden own just says you know hold my beer because she puts in a 1029 average the highest ever event average by an fpo player it's it's funny is I'm getting like that that Conrad taking down McBeth kind of Vibes you know you've got to do something special to actually knock him off and I mean knockof yeah KT...
