hello everyone and welcome to day seven of the 12 days of gatekeeper media Christmas if you ever been interested on how we actually create our coverage today I'll give you a little bit of insight in how that process starts as well as some basic editing techniques as well as any other little tips and tricks that I have for anyone starting out all right so we're going to jump in keep it pretty quick pretty simple just give you a little bit of t of kind of what it looks like inside the program uh as well as just tips and tricks I might have for any of you out there if you are looking to start creating your own dis off coverage so the first and foremost the most important thing is organization um your project should kind of be an exact mirror of what your folder looks like on your hard drive uh that's just very important in terms of just keeping things very organized uh cuz it's very easy to get uh unorganized especially once things start piling up it's one thing you do one tournament you do a second tournament you start filming five six years those tournaments add up and it could make it very challenging uh so organization is first and foremost the most important thing uh just with any Media or anything like that really uh something I definitely strive on uh but I'm no master at it that's for sure and I it's really hard to stay organized uh the first thing I'm going to do is just bring in some of this footage before I do that I just want to create a folder this is Adobe Premiere Pro that's where we do most of our editing we use the Adobe suite because it comes with After Effects and with that it's able to create Graphics pretty easily I'm just going to drag in my footage for round one so for round one for the 2023 Philly open we had single cam cover uh coverage and I would say that's usually the best way to start if you're looking to just jump in go out there with your phone and film it single cam um and then from there you can kind of learn certain editing techniques and certain ways to film to make up for not having a...
