Juliana Korver, 5x World Champion, shares her history and mindset on competing in a major tournament after a 15-year break. Korver takes viewers through her journey from her first pro world tournament in 1996 to her most recent appearance at Worlds in 2006, where she had retired. This year, Korver is competing on short notice, having only recently decided to participate, and admits that this approach has its benefits, including a reduced risk of putting too much pressure on herself. As a 50-year-old player returning from a 12-year hiatus, Korver discusses the realities of her current expectations versus those of her former self.
