hello and welcome to the 51st American flying disc open presented by Dynamic Discs and brought to you by gatekeeper media and Heiser media my name is Emily Dale and I am joined in the booth by Ben Apple hello pleasure to be here we have some exciting coverage at Parma park today we have beautiful weather all week weekend and some exciting cards for us to tackle this event that has been around for 51 iterations that is insane we have Connor Rock he is actually one of the highest rated players who play this event last year when it was a silver series we have GT Hancock Evan Smith and rounding out our card and we have a local here on our feature card Jerry meny all righty whole one we have this 3155 ft par three players can either have the choice of going backhand or forehand but they really want to Nestle up into this Grove of trees there are some opportunities for rollways this is a fun uh course change that they did the old tead from last year used to be like 300 ft back into the left so it was a par four but now they just kind of put you up into like a good Landing zone so all you have to do is execute a uh a good kind of upshot from last year so yeah nice turnover would be nice or if you have a nice uh forehand that can finish nicely would be a a really good play for this hole yeah I like this adjustment and as you can see there definitely some challenges those Guardian trees make any shot that you're taking into the green pretty tough but we'll see how they navigate oh yeah absolutely even with that Hill there it's hard enough to land a disc on a hill like that and then the trees just make it like annoying let's see what a JT can do great angle coming in it just needed a little bit of height to get up that hill so this event last year was a silver series like I mentioned Ezra Robinson did win that event but we did have Conor rock as the highest finisher that is in the field this year so that'll be exciting to see that we do not have the returning champ playing this...
