Patty Robinson and Timmy Bowen from the Tea Off podcast bring their expertise to the event, alongside Gatekeeper Media and other supporting partners. The two friends are excited to be at the course, where Blake Hston and Luky Bane are tied for the lead, with Leo Dykes close behind. As they navigate the challenging holes, including a par four that requires precision throws through obstacles, they discuss strategy and technique. Patty shares her experience of "snuck onto" the league card, referencing the PDJ number as the tiebreaker. The duo also chat about the young player Blake, sponsored by Disc, who throws an impressive mile. With wind challenges and opportunities to win extra cash on the line, their banter is filled with humor and insights into the world of disc golf.

[music] Oh, good day guys and welcome back to the 2025 eruption. We're in Mount Gambia at the Cradle X disc golf course. Huge thank you to Gatekeeper Media [music] and Australia's own parked media for this coverage. Also, massive shout out to Heiser Flight, Oz Disc, and Launch Disc Golf for supporting the eruption coverage. My name is Patty Robinson. I'm here with Timmy Bowen. Together we are the Tea Off podcast, an Australian podcast about disc golf. How cool is that, Tim? >> I mean, you call it cool, some others may not call it that, Patty, but we think it's cool. >> Yeah, >> I'm excited for this round, mate. We've got Blake Hston and Luky Bane tied at the top. Leo Dykes in third place, two shots back, and yourself, Patty, tied with Mikey Hair in fourth place. >> Yeah, sometimes it pays to be a little bit older, Timmy, cuz I snuck onto that league card. But >> thanks to the PDJ number, right? That was the tiebreaker. >> Yeah, and being old. >> Got Dave and myself. for tie seven with Zack James. >> Yeah, there's a few players pretty close into it. Starting off hole one 199 m par four. Wish they just had that extra meter and get the cheeky 200, but just an easy backhand for your right hand throwers. Land somewhere here. Uh navigate the OB on the right and the left. I like to forehand play straight up to the basket. But uh yeah, there's always a bit of wind to challenge this whole >> team. Blake, >> we've probably all seen a lot of this fella at this point. He's making a lot of lead cards these days. Young Gun out of WA sponsored by Disc and throws an absolute mile. Patty, >> I'm kind of glad he's won a little bit cuz uh that that little bit extra cash has paid for a few flights and we have been able to see him at more tournaments. I have seen him open with a seven on this hole once. So, >> oh yeah, >> there could be uh some danger. That's a little early for my eye. >> Yeah, it's caught the last tree and it looks like he's on the trunk there. So, that may be a very awkward place to throw his second shot from. >>...
