Welcome disc golf fans to the first PDJ Major of the 2025 season. We're here for the College Disc Golf National Championships down in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We're going to be at Winthrop Lake. Thanks always to our Patreon supporters. My name is Chris German, co-owner, co-founder of Gatekeeper Media. I have PJ Bar with me and this commentary is weighed by Marshall Street. As PJ, we're hopping in D1 singles. Yeah, it's exciting. We got some interesting folks here. We got last year's winner in Benjamin Zorn. We have the highest rated player in the field, Anthony Anselmo, also the local guy and Jaden Ry. He's uh on the Pro Tour playing Elite Series events cashing. And he's also here hoping to win college nationals. And uh we also got Colton Webb who I believe won a regional collegiate event. Mega here. Awesome. So we're going to start here. Hole one, par 4, 700 ft, 214 m. Traditionally at USDGC, you usually see this as hole five. It's cut up into two holes here on the team for our 306 PMT time. This is your division 1 men's singles feature card. Up first, representing the University of North Carolina, please join me in welcoming Mr. Anthony and Selmo. Anthony, highest rated here for this singles tournament. We're going to be playing one round today. The top 16 including ties will move on to the final nine played tomorrow. As we take a look here at Anony's bag, team discmania or dynamic disc, my apologies. That's a solid shot to get started. He's got a usual game, lefty forehand, ready putt. Like you mentioned, last year's winner, he actually won not on the filmed card. So, it was such a tight race there on that final nine. He took down the win, you said, shooting three strokes better than the field on the final nine. Yeah. And taking home the win from what you would say chase card. Mhm. And another solid start just right in the middle. He has a pretty balanced game ready backhand and forehanding Oklahoma Christian. Please put your hands together for Mr. Colton Web.
