welcome to Richmond Virginia for Heiser media and gatekeeper media's combined coverage of this year's tour to Richmond presented by played Again Sports thank you as well to the River City disc golf club for sponsoring and putting on this event I'm Nathan Johnson joined in the booth today by Dan Brooks Wells how's it going Dan yeah a lot of variety coming up here we got a tight race at the top with Gabe Boon and Quinton maen at 4 under followed closely behind by Matthew Guthrie and Jay kegi bunch of other players down the leader board looking to make a push here and keep themselves in contention yeah yeah we saw uh a course yesterday that was really challenging really tight wooded holes and um tough to get and stay under par and we are going to start it off here with a doozy hole one 364 ft Par 3 you can see it's a tight Gap off the te not much room here but you got to find your way to the basket yeah the hardest hole on the course statistically to par is the starting hole so so that just tells you what you're getting into that was actually Quinton maen there we missed gab's t-shot these guys love to play fast so we'll do our best to keep up with them yeah it seems like a lot of these guys they're they're they're really just shooting for this straight Landing Zone um I don't know if there's really any way to get to the basket without kind of getting lucky with a flare skip through those trees on the left yeah I think as long as you kind of hit this initial Gap these players are are pretty happy with whatever the result may be we've seen some struggles so far and some early scrambles coming up got a thummer being broken out here pretty great little Skip and roll to get an outside look or not even an outside look a really reasonable parpa yeah that was that was really good this one kind of was burned into the ground he's going to start himself off with a kind of a circle two putt to save his paw yeah we finally catch up with Gabe here for his upshot little ultimate kind of style step out flick there catches something late so that...
