welcome back disc golf fans to the 2024 open at Austin presented by flight Factory discs out here at the Harvey pinnick Golf Course in Austin Texas got to see lots of birdies on that front nine couple clean six down and seven Downs excited to see what goes on here on this back nine I'm Nathan Queen again joined by Andrew fish yeah delighted to be here pretty neat golf course layout we see a mix of of woods as well as the traditional uh golf Fairways and Hazards to work with nichas and mtio out to the best starts here but still plenty of time for Calvin and Jake to make their move as we go into this back nine whole 10 3115 ft downhill is an island green it's wider than it is deep but it also is kind of diagonal relative to the T backhand and forehand both work drop zone is at about 40 45 ft yeah it can be one of the easier holes on the course at only 315 ft as we see m o tag the Koozie below the pin take a look at this one again gorgeous little backhand shape plays the crosswind and then the late stability yeah but as mattio shows you there can be one of the easier ones on the course but if that wind picks up man can it feel tough to land on this island Nicholas with a good shot and a bonus roll I like that left to right moving shot that Jake is also going to throw because it follows the length of the island for longer yeah it does seem to make that Island play larger if you hit the ground you're likely inbounds with the backhand play you can hit the ground and not be inbounds if you don't happen to get a skip or something Calvin going straight at the basket probably didn't the the tree hit didn't materially change the distance he'll putting Jake first to go and Tailwind drop oo Tailwind drop also a little bit high on the chains there but sticks in got three birdies on hole 10 moves us into hole 11 Mo par five 1,000 feet so with that it does play downhill and there likely could be some Eagles um with two 500t shots OB left OB right and it gets kind of...
