welcome back disc golf fans for round one front n coverage of the open at Austin presented by flight Factory discs first time on tour out here at this particular property got a ball golf course we're going to be checking out designed with a nice disc golf l out I'm Nathan Queen again joined by Andrew fish yeah delighted to be here going to see a little bit of everything the Harvey pennic Golf campus uh retooled a little bit from the 2023 layout we're going to see Simon lazat Matt horm Paul uberry and Mason Ford tackling it uh good bit of elevation got some water in play got some uh some Woods uh and as you see after two events of the 2024 season Ganon Burr and Anthony Barella um each with a win yeah Nicholas antila their third in points not too far behind them uh pretty fun track that we get to play here today straight into hole one we've got a 400t par 3 might play slightly shorter you have a look this uh OB river that you've got a cross over fairly straightforward to start your round depending on the wi Factory this is aat 3 mpo first up on the TX from Germany sponsored by MVP and GP Simon arguably one of the friendliest uh opening holes on the entire Pro Tour there's so much room out to the right that for everybody it's going to be a flat or slightly heer backand yeah you see Simon fiser there able to keep the disc on one angle and with his power no problem at all onola Alabama by and Maddie a little lower a little flatter you see the wind going to pull it all the way back into the circle and a little bit left of the basket Purple People beautiful shot there from Mato Paul got Paul ulber here going to likely go with a pretty similar line one of the things you want to think about on days in Texas is the wind direction uh it's going to pretty much dictate where you want to land your disc around the basket pick your favorite wind make sure you don't land in your worst wind these guys all putting it close enough it doesn't really matter as Uli almost on the base here we'll take a look again yeah I...
