2024 North Island Championships | R2B9 | Sullivan, Orange, Wake, Brennan | New Zealand
Catch the highlights from Round 2 of the 2024 North Island Championships presented by NZ DG. Conor McKenry and DNE Goodman bring you back nine coverage, starting on hole 10. The duo analyze Jackson's strong start with a birdie at the par-three Island Pole, but acknowledge Jake Brennan's slow begin with just one birdie on his opening nine. Conor and DNE discuss the importance of playing safe in windy conditions, with Jacko showing them how to effectively navigate the tougher part of the island. They also appreciate Johnny's steady play, taking his time and executing a well-placed shot through a narrow gap between trees. Meanwhile, Francis takes advantage of an easy up-and-down birdie at hole 11, showcasing a clever use of the Mando double from a tricky lie.
