and welcome back disc golf fans to round one front n coverage of the 2024 Music City open presented by Lone Star discs excited to be in the Nashville area here in Tennessee at mil Ridge Park I'm Nathan Queen again joined by Andrew fish good to be here Nathan we see some pretty consistent weather throughout the weekend uh this is a pretty open property not usually used for disc golf we're on a temporary setup so wind and out of bounds going to be the biggest deciding factors here Logan Bowers Anthony Bella Calvin heimberg Carter arens uh a regional face and then uh Young Carter the tournament sponsor Lone Star dis is a sponsored player Anthony Pella off to a hot start in the 2024 season leading the charge in the golf prot tour standings yeah and if you haven't seen Carter aand play before he's from the Washington Oregon area I believe Washington tons of power and super fun to watch excited to see him play out here today as we move into hole one 308 ft par three kind of a late low ceiling and then a tree right in the center pretty difficult Gap shot to start time here at the 2024 Music City open presented by lar disc first to the Make some noise for Logan bow and if you haven't seen Logan Bowers play he is a treat to watch Big Time forehand kind of dealt with some injuries but a a really neat old school game yeah and taking the tighter forehand line going to pull it just a little bit Lefty with a couple wins already this year on tour Anthony Barella starting out the season hot always fun to watch him play playing a little bit of a force over with an overstable disc and actually going to go long near the pack edge of the circle Nathan yeah not surprising to see that as this hole requires that specific line that he threw uh which is going to be easier for a lot of players to do with more speed uh you really do need that movement left but or movement to the right before it finishes left so difficult to do with touch and Calvin had the right shape kind of gets Cedar down at the front edge of the circle this time and at this point...
