and welcome back disc golf fans to round one back n coverage of the 2024 Music City open presented by Lone Star discs out here in Antioch Tennessee outskirts of Nashville excited to watch this back nine on the mil Ridge disc golf course I'm Nathan Queen again joined by Andrew fish after spending a month in Texas and then going to Arkansas Nathan I think it's pretty wild to come to a place where people have to like put on an effect to say howdy when they greet you I like it it's what I'm used to we see our card not doing great work on the front line so far this is a pretty scorable and attackable track but we're going to jump straight into 10 783 ft a par 4 reconfigured from some earlier iterations of this space on the course big backhand drive over some out of bounds and then tucked behind a large cluster of trees is the basket yeah two fairly daunting shots second shot not as much OB but if you're going for that left side Gap can get a little bit little bit scary down on the left side and I like Calvin shot a little bit more than Carter seemed like it had some more standup so therefore extra distance and that well depending on whether Calvin wants to go forehand that could open up the lows side attack into the green yeah and Logan going backand here shows you how favorable it is to be able to finish off to the left here if you don't get any left movement off of the T you are very far away from the basket for your second shot as AB going over top of the tree everybody else electing to go around is likely going to make this second shot way shorter than 95% of the field out here yeah perhaps some frustration in that after a a slow front nine for Bella Carter going to try to play Big over the top and holy cow Nathan how insane man I don't I don't know how I he is too far back to have done that well but he did it though great shot and Logan showing you that for forehand line going to draw it up just a little bit better going to tap that one in for birdie Nice Shot...
