What's going on, disc golf fans? This is the 2024 Main State Championship brought to you by Brickyard Hollow and proudly elevated by Thoughtspace Athletics. What's going on, buddy? Hey, we have beautiful weather all weekend long. And we are at the Pineland Farms disc golf patriot of course, and we have a stellar card, Matt Bell, old Greg Barsby, last year's champion Paul Crayons, and Chandler Fry. Rounding it out. A lot of other notable players here. Harry Chase, a local favorite of sorts from the New England area. Luke Samson, another tour player, Dylan Capoli from the area as well. Yeah, it's going to bring us right into the hole one par three, 415 ft, 126 m. Just a slight little drift here on the right. A lot of trees to miss and then it just fades back to the left on the end of the main state disc golf championships sponsored by Brickyard Hollows Brewery and elevated by Thought Space Athletics. First on the tea from Nevada City, California, we have Matt Bell. Matt Bell, no stranger to the gatekeeper coverage. our first Chase card winner in fact from uh all the way in the Iron Hill days of Delaware Challenge. That was about five years ago at this point. Crazy to think. Yeah. And round one last year at this course uh was quite a wet one. Um so conditions are significantly better for our players this time around. And it looks like that had a lot of push. may have gotten caught up there. Next up, just shy of Pinheim South Valley, California, Greg Barsby. Yeah, end of flight there gets caught up for Matt as Greg Barsby won New York State Championships just a couple weeks ago. So, he's looking for another state championship up here in the Northeast. Rack them up, right? This looks a little left. Might be a little early as well. Yep. catches a tree. Third on the tea from Dudley, Massachusetts, our defending 2023 championship, Paul Crayons. And returning Maine States champion Paul Crayons, new addition to the MVP team this year. A little bit of a slower start for him at the beginning of the season....
