Welcome back, disc golf fans. We made it halfway through the 2024 birdie open presented here by Gatekeeper Media. Big shout out to Delaware Discoff. It's been putting on an amazing event for years now back when it used to be the Delaware Discoff Challenge in Iron Hill. has a lot of history with us and just locally around us. I'm excited to see this back half of this tournament. My name is Chris German. We have Derek Skull bring the action once again. What's happening everybody? Yeah, let's take a look here at the results thus far. Zack the only one blemish free but also pretty stagnant aside from hole seven. Yeah, everyone's rating coming in over a stack. So, decent local talent field for this event. So, we move into hole 10, par4, 615 ft. This one's tough. If you can get up right by these trees here, that is a great shot, but there's still a lot of distance between you and the basket. It's just it's it's tricky. This plays the hardest hole yesterday, plays the hardest hole today. I think because it's because of the shape. uh like it's it's a hard read if you're not familiar with the whole uh it's it's going to play hard for you. I am mistaken is not the hardest hole today. I take that back. But I agree with everything you're saying. Uh as we saw with a hiser shot there from Justin, he ends up kind of in the trees. It's not like a traditional hiser shot. No, it it almost feels like you have to kind of saw it off and aim high for it to work out. Like I've said that so many times and you know 615 foot it is slightly uphill and it it's turning pretty aggressively off the tea and then gets pretty tight going up to to the green. You almost even want to play it a little shorter off the tee and just make sure that you land in the middle after that bend. Good tree there. Keeps him on the fairway. Yeah, this one I playing for par is very respectable here. I really like the idea of the backhand roller. Um that angle was really tough to get like a full power shot to get the distance. So trying to make up for it with the ground tree...
