foreign welcome back to the 2023 Portland open presented by latitude 64. this is an elite plus event on the disc golf pro tour and I am so excited to be commentating along with Nathan Queen on the round two back nine mpo Chase Card yeah we got to see a good bit of action on that front nine some birdies some bogeys a little bit of odd double bogey action there on hole seven and uh a back nine that could cause some more trouble out here very difficult to attack yeah absolutely scoring opportunities but you have to be precise and you have to knock down your putts when you get the opportunities and this field really really packed in yeah just three Strokes right now separating our top 10 and opportunities for that to get even tighter before the end of the round hole 10 par 4 at 625 feet an initial Gap with a low ceiling mandatory forces you to the right where there is some out of bounds to the right a good shot can put you inside 300 feet to the pen playing uphill and a series of stacked gaps but overall a pretty uh pretty unintimidating green once you've gotten to that point yeah I like what James did there kind of Bend his knees reminding himself to throw low a little bit too low on that one yeah he's he's Incorporated that into his routine like you can see the the deliberate intent of uh of staying relaxed Hannah hits the tree that everybody's aiming at and hoping to miss and boost right but does stay in bounds Carter Aaron's using the ceiling I think that was intended to be a cut roller which is an option yeah that was that looked like a pretty aggressive Choice off of the tee uh but does catch that low ceiling and lizotte has messed with this cut roller as well pushes it to the right this needs to beat the Mando which it does and then continues well up the hill to the left wow look you can see the basket up there as he still draws closer yeah he's up in there at 150 maybe yeah just a Chip Shot incoming he has done all of the hard work errands first to throw his second gonna play hyzer up the hill oh he's...
