The 2023 Portland Open presented by Latitude 64 is underway, and Gatekeeper Media brings you exclusive coverage of Round One's MPO feature card. This Elite Plus event marks the seventh stop of the DGPT 2023 season, bringing top players to Glendoveer West, the first course of the tournament. The front nine offers a challenging layout with a unique Mando tree that requires strategic shot selection. Ricky Wysocki and Adam Hammis are currently vying for top spots, with Wysocki holding his ground after a strong opening round. Carter Aaron is also making progress, but needs to overcome his 8-over par scorecard. The course features numerous backhand Flex shots and the use of cut rollers as popular options, particularly among right-handed players. With low ceilings and challenging obstacles throughout, each shot must be carefully planned and executed to navigate the demanding terrain of Glendoveer West.
