The 2023 OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports is here, and Andrew Fish and Nathan Queen are live at beautiful Swenson Park in Stockton, California. The tour has made some changes to the layout, but it seems they've been well-received so far. foreign welcome back to the 2023 OTB open presented by MVP disc Sports we are in Stockton California at beautiful Swenson Park and I'm Andrew fish joined here by Nathan Queen and I believe this is the third year that we've made it out to Stockton on the on the disc golf pro tour made a couple changes to the layout this year it seems like they've been good changes so far we got to watch some some pretty good golf on the front nine a few birdies from some players but also as you see here a couple struggle holes yeah Swenson Park definitely requires committed shots and good decisions as well as execution on the putting green some of those folks who are executing very well Isaac Robinson Eric Oakley Cody Kirkland Jonah hanin and a bunch of minus fives out there so some extra work to do we start that off with a gorgeous whole tan water carry almost the entire way although lots of safe room to the right Par 3 435 feet and then not more than a few meters behind the basket again out of bounds yeah one of those holes that's difficult to park but if you want the birdie you kind of need to park it Anthony Barella urging his disc to go left that's going to be hung out to the right side kinda in no man's land in circle two yeah that's not a putt you can really run if you do you're a bit crazy looks like Eagle is going back to that mid-range again on this 435 foot hole and a lot of Highs are on the release gonna carry straight but even that seems like it's flirting wow does come up short of the out of bounds and well inside the circle yeah that's that's I don't believe that's a spot you're going to see a lot of players land it's not that he has a long putt but even if he did he's not in a scary Direction he's able to put away from that OB believe this is Calvin's signature Vela man and even from there I'm not sure you run that I think it depends on what the wind is doing at the time and and what you feel like yeah Kevin plays the forehand since that's going to run away from the water...
