foreign fans and welcome to the 2023 Island open presented by discmania this is Euro tour stop number seven as well as Swedish disc golf pro tour stop number six and we're here in Finland and my name is Chris along beside me it's been a very long time but co-founder and president of gatekeeper Eric how you doing hello there my friend it's good to be back in the booth with you it's been since 2020 since we've done this together so I'm super excited to be calling the shots with you on round one here at Island open we're gonna see the card we have here today topping off with Greg Scott Stokely Linus Carlson and Elias lucanen yeah as we take a look at some of the players that are in this tournament to watch we see Eagle McMahon probably the most notable it's been really cool to see even after like European open their players are still out here competing over here in Europe we're gonna move right into hole one 246 foot par three just a slight Bend there to the left probably gonna see a mid-ranger putter shot should be a good easy starting hole for these guys we have Greg here his shot just kind of hangs a little left here he is right height but just a little too far sales passed it's got going with the forehand it looks like he wanted that to flip up a little more and that's going to leak out to the right he is going to find himself with an obstructed putt from there and we have Linus been making a name making coverage over there in the states for us so it's cool to see him here over in Europe competing on this feature card and I would say this is a new face to gatekeeper we have not seen Elias before on coverage he's got a lot of touch on that shot it's gonna go dead straight in the middle here and leave himself a look for two yeah great shot by him as again this is a pretty short hole pretty easy here for these guys a good starting hole that you really want to get Linus from just outside maybe 12 meters or so we have Greg here under some tree cover gonna make that much lower of a ceiling does...
