welcome back this scoff fans as we've made it to the 2023 down east Players Cup Final Round this event is presented by yours truly and powered by basket Bashers it's so exciting to come to this event every year down in Greenville North Carolina this has been an eigh TI for many years now and gatekeeper has always been excited to Showcase it to all these people Derek how you doing today I'm doing well very excited like you said we've been coming here for years I believe 2020 was the first year we took a crack at it and we've enjoyed coming back every year we got Blake Poland on our final round coverage here newcomer to the gatekeeper coverage but Grady Shu Scott Conway and Gavin Rathbun rounding out our card we got Russ bus at the top of the chase along with Ian berett and another close yeah Taylor rounding out the Chase card he's a local as well hole one is a par three 39 ft you got some trees pretty early to contend with but as long as you punch something straight with a reliable fade there at the end pushing around 300 ft should do the trick the Miss on this hole is on the right you do not want to be in the jail on the left yeah Blake Poland first time seeing him team Mania member as that was a great shot putting him inside the circle with Grady Shu with Team infinite guess you can call them local to North Carolina now as you see that big cup there the Down East Players cup is such an amazing trophy uh it's always awesome to see the winner hoist that over their head I mean it's basically half of a person not to mention just the recurring trophy but there are uh locally made ceramic trophies that are smaller cups that all the players leave with as well we brought up Scott Conway a couple times local no stranger to this event exciting to see him here competing on this final day Gavin finding that one tree to miss with that line and then this is a great starting hole as long as you it makes you have to hit a gap on the first shot of the of the tournament but or the round I should say but uh as...
