foreign welcome back disc golf fans to the 2023 Discraft Great Lakes open presented by grip six this is our first playoff event of the season and the second year that we've had these playoff events excited to be out here for the 41st edition of the Great Lakes open I'm Nathan Queen again joined by Andrew fish and I too am delighted to be back in the Mitten there is nothing like a Michigan summer and Nathan we're going to get a little a little bit of all kinds of Summer weather today along with James Proctor Eagle McMahon Anthony Barella and Kyle Klein yeah lots of different weather rolling in throughout the day and cooler temperatures than we've seen over the last two months you see there the dgpt standings our card going to be composed of numbers five through eight in the standings as we move into the playoffs this is going to be worth 150 percent of the standard dgpt points and it's a pretty limited field only about 75 players uh qualifying here James Proctor got a couple different sponsors gonna put with the glow alpaca throws the Pathfinder and Barry a lot for his mid-ranges and then Centurion Emperor and Destroyer gonna get a lot of work out here Eco McMahon putting with the flex 3D line rain maker I'm not gonna be seeing some md3s and some mutants for the upshots probably some fd3s PDS and Cloud breakers out there in the Wind Anthony barela sponsored by Discraft you've seen quite a bit of him lately CT jawbreaker focus is going to be his primary putter a couple different other throwing Putters buzzes and maltes for the mids and then Athena Forest Venom Raptor nuke OS it's all in there a lot of Logics for the putters the origin and md3 fd3 splice the Vanguard and also some of those Cloud Breakers we're gonna play hole one first 60-foot elevation drop at 516 feet so a lot of flight time and depending on what the wind is doing it might influence how aggressive players want to be two pin positions in play this weekend we're going to play to this right one perch right up on the elevated basket and against the right side OB viously but I feel like I said Dynamic and meant this Mania uh that's correct Kyle Klein sponsored...
