The 2023 Discmania 303 Open is a highly anticipated tournament featuring top players in a modified layout of two courses at Badlands in Denver, Colorado. Joining host Joel Freeman are Rovere and Hanson, who share their insights on what it takes to succeed on the back nine holes. The back nine offers a similar vibe to the front nine, with lightly wooded holes that require skilled wind management and precise angle throwing. Players will need to master overstable plastics and aim for the bottom of the basket hole to avoid obstacles like the Guardian Tree. Notable competitors include Paul Crans, an experienced local player, and Lucas Carmichael, a rising star from Northern Colorado who may struggle with his throws in certain conditions. Watch as these players navigate the challenging layout and share their strategies for success on the back nine holes.
Watch top pros Rovere, Hanson, Carmichael & Krans battle at the 2023 Discmania 303 Open's R1 & B9 feature on the Gatekeeper course.
