foreign and welcome to Gatekeepers coverage of the 2023 act disc golf championships the Sizzler presented by Oz discs we're at the beautiful Western Park in the capital city of Australia Canberra and this coverage has been provided by Justice media round two here now I'm Paddy Robinson in the booth we've got Andrew Ferguson and Tim Bowen we are the tee off podcasts and very stoked to bring some commentary for this awesome event yeah what a stellar first round we have our lead Card Austin D'Alessandro the local 1600 apart followed by David Perry Jade Brady and rounding out our top four on 11 under Mr Luke Bain that's a hot looking card there some great players red hot card here's the full leaderboard following uh Luke blame got Dan Frost yourself Patty Robinson doing well put in an eight down first round not too bad not too bad here we go left a few out there here's the first hole it's a par three 299 feet 91 meters pretty simple this one there is OB up on the left there if you Fade Out too hard but you're really just throwing your mid-range here something straight crash into the hill have that birdie putt all right I was then probably taking a mid or a putter here that's looking Ace runnish yes he did this in the first round all right Dave Perry he'd be throwing a mid here as well or a putter that looks pretty stable on the Dance Floor very nice Jason's ready Jade Brady another camberon local boy smooth yeah very smooth he's very good with his backhand Putters Jade I'm sure that was something low speed there likes to wear the shorter shorts I've ever seen to put on you Jade Luke Bain from Queensland following a similar line to Jade and putting it right next to it now a few ctps this is a great start for this uh lead card here good birdie for Baney getting the star frame kick-started gotta love that initial uh Birdie on the first hole always feels good it's good to see uh Austin and uh Jade Brady on the same card too because they're both local boys good mates and very competitive between the two there we go make sure that's that Chase Card hears it all right on to Hole two par three...
