foreign welcome back to the 2022 Santa Cruz Masters Cup this is gatekeeper media's presentation of a round one feature card a little bit of a late release but I'm excited to see it I'm Andrew fish joined here by Nick Hansen hey folks how we doing today we've got a beautiful day here on the course and excited to get into this back nine yeah uh classic West Coast course at de la viega and we've got classic weather as well it's almost perfect light wind not much else you could ask for absolutely Uh Kevin Jones three down Drew Gibson two and then Jeremy Kolling and Garrett gurthy both at two up uh got some some pretty good players out here setting the pace at several Strokes under par uh Nick what are you looking to see on this back you know the back you really want to try and score on the later holes some of these holes are going to be tricky but all these holes on this back then are chewable here we are at hole number 10 one of the harder holes on the back nine a low hyzer that powers through and then skips can get you there or you can do a big up and over Top Shot yeah that big up and over probably isn't getting you the birdie though right because you have to throw so high there's players on this card that I think have the power to get up and over and do it well then fundamentally they're playing a different game than you and I dang it he says foreign I think you kind of know that's a possibility though de la teaches you a lot about course management both in terms of you know biting off manageable chunks and then around the greens that they're very technical with what it looks like oh it's gonna be a great upshot he's still gonna have a chance at a three putt there but those look like it was going to be right out of the basket yep yep and very good check for culling sitting himself about four meters away Garrett back to the Sonic and I'm kind of got all the way up here I am impressed at how far he got but even even around the greens there's stuff in the way he is not happy...
