what's up everyone and welcome to the round three back nine coverage here at the 2022 las vegas challenge you're watching the first stop of the disc golf pro tour my name is mitch phillips joining me is nathan queen talk to me a little bit about front nine yeah the front nine each player had one vogie we had a couple players get six birdies on the front so hot starts from those guys a couple other players not quite as many birdies but still hanging in there and have an opportunity to do some work on the back you see tristan tanner and kevin jones with the five unders on the front down chris dickerson one down and lena's two down you're already moving into a tie for third pretty a lot of players here at -21 just two back from your leader gannon burr holding on tight and uh he's still playing incredibly well as we head into hole 10 par 3 388 this one is a pretty difficult pin placement that water there on the right side not one guardian tree on the left the difficulty comes also on the slope if you push long that roll comes in quick and your footing can get weird and you find the out of bounds this is another pad that they have changed from previous years it's moved across the ball golf fairway over to the left side so it kind of before you would throw a hyzer over the water the entire time now you can't really stand it up you want to still throw a hyzer but it's easy to drift off to the left side of this basket yeah as you see kevin do just that just a little bit short left that was it okay you see the flag there the wind is really non-existent on this one which is definitely a good thing with how much danger there is surrounding and i think this is a good change for the hole although you don't have to go over the water the whole time it really uh it really makes you nervous to stand your disc up and get your disc to fly straight yeah as you can see right there from kevin and elena's i mean it gets in your head if there's any chance that it turns over i'm gonna throw something...
