hey folks welcome back over here at gatekeeper media as we bring you the coverage of the 2022 dynamic disc open out in emporia kansas once again a special shout out to all of you for tuning in in a special thank you to all of our patreon supporters who helped make all of this possible my name is dustin murray and i'll be bringing you the solo commentary for our elite series stop here in kansas with our first couple of rounds being at the new supreme 18 layout at jones park and after the front nine brodie smith leading the way tied for first at eight under par chris and tanner not too far behind and simon lazad still sitting in the top ten there in a tie for seventh of course it is thomas gilbert who's knotted up with brody smith at the top of the leaderboard with james conrad and nolan ramser just in bahan and ricky wysocki rounding out the top five as we get to hole 10 a slightly downhill tee shot a very difficult bar for 833 feet lots of low ceilings once you start trying to approach the screen you really need to stay as center cut as possible on this fairway there's kind of a little ditch that rises in the middle being near that certainly good i would say being a little bit right is better the more left you are off the tee the more cut off you can be from approaching on your second shot see brother just trying to play the slight turnover here kind of gets caught up in that right hand side but then fights back out and is in really the ideal position of course there is ob if you go too far right and the fairway does narrow as you go up with ob surrounding both sides of it good shot here from justin rozak not as much for progress but at least accurate again worth noting as always in emporia very heavy winds and today was even gustier than the opening day so definitely a consistent challenge off the tee and on the putting greens see a good shot there from simon lizot and we got tristan tater who opened with the turkey but has hit a couple of bumps in the road since playing the forehand wind's kind of eating that...
