foreign greetings disc golf fans as we watch the mpo round one back nine feature card at the 2022 down east Players Cup in Greenville North Carolina I'm Andrew fish joined here by Nick Hansen hey folks how we doing today it's a great day for disc golf yeah for sure we are out here at the meadow this is a really fun park to play it started as an advanced and intermediate course um but in the last six years or so they integrated some longer t-pads longer pen positions and by now it's a really really solid challenging course this is my first time in the area and this is a wonderful Park course to get out and play not only for fun but for a tournament of this caliber yeah absolutely you see here our round one front nine leaderboard got some hot scores going out there uh it sure seems like to be in the mix you're gonna have to shoot High single digits at worst double digits out here is very impressive and let's get into the back nine right away hole 10 is a par 4 528 feet there is a gap that you have to hit that's probably about a hundred off of Fairway 120. it's going to get you in position to then try and attack the green very tricky Par Four but if you can get off the T well it turns into a birdie yeah a lot of options I know I'm throwing mid-range off the tee just you know trying to play at a two shot Hole uh what's your attack here so I actually try to really attack this hole with a roller but I'm Gonna Catch early on that top left side I wasn't even thinking about hitting there unfortunately it goes against my game plan uh yeah early hit is never in my game plan no early hit on the ground would have been nice but not certainly not even trees undeterred by you Gavin's gonna go roller and gets it to the right side that was looking huge but he got one bad bounce right off of the get-go and uh different did it roll up those trees in the middle yeah it looked like it was gonna be great and wow Scott with a much more stable disc than I guess I anticipated he...
