hey folks and welcome back here to gatekeeper media as we continue to bring you coverage of the 2022 great lakes open out in milford michigan at the toboggan course once again we'd like to thank all of you for tuning in to this coverage as well as a special thank you to our patreon supporters who helped make all of this possible over here at gatekeeper media once again bringing the commentaries myself dutch marie and once again joining me my buddy nathan queen how's it going sir doing well excited to watch this back nine out here we saw these players attack the front nine pretty well with a couple struggles along the way drew gibson having five birdies but carton that double bogey and we even saw a skipping eagle from ben callaway yeah 200 feet at that so definitely one of the biggest throw into the event already so take a look at the leaderboard here thus far four under par through about halfway and the chorus has been kind of the pace so a couple of our players are still certainly in the mix to get towards the top and leaderboard as we head into one of our other brand new holes on the toboggan this year at hole number yeah brand new par four you'll you'll recognize this tree but the t-pad is in a different spot as well as the basket way up this hill you want your tee shot to carry maybe about 350 feet slightly uphill to to a very small landing zone you really need to land in the middle of this green strip of grass to have a good angle this is a little short left gets a good kick out but still gonna be pretty far back as the second part of the teeth of the hole probably rises about 50 55 feet the whole hole goes up about 65 feet total so yeah so this hole in the past was kind of the i mean i would say typically that backhand roller uphill hole that a lot of people played the kickoff there back down it was a different t location but it was kind of a similar upslope and the old pin location is still on the fairway and it's actually kind of the ideal place to be for your up shot funnily enough to try...
