hello and welcome disc golf fans to the front nine coverage of round one of the 2021 utah open presented by innova champion discs i'm brian ehrhart joined here by my co-host holly finley of team innova holly we are in beautiful ogden utah how's it going oh wow we sure are it's my first time visiting the area and these views are spectacular i didn't know what to expect but i'm so impressed with the scenery and the hospitality and the amenities at the courses so i'm ready to jump right into this and see what these ladies have for us and we do have paige pierce lisa fakes own skogens and ellen widboom four really differing play styles going into this first round yeah a couple of sidearm throwers some solid backhand smashers it's going to be cool to see how these ladies tear up the course individually some beautiful drone footage showing the mulligans golf course we've got our flight factory drone flyover for hole one they're starting us off with a huge par four 711 feet you really need to avoid that pond on the right you don't want to go there and also these sand traps play as hazards this year so you want to avoid those as well utah open driven by innova this is our 924 fpo feature card first on the t-pad this morning we have the five-time world champion sponsored by this craft let's give it up for paige pierce and paige has been on absolute terror lately taking a little bit of time off after to her standards a rocky start to the season and she seems full of life again smashing a solid drive keeping it low i have to say brian though looping back to the announcer there we all need a hype man like this absolutely i hope i hope he gives me this the tournament director and at this mulligan's course lisa is definitely one of the scrappier fpo players that we have and with her not having the distance that paige has she's gonna have to pull out some tricks and putt the way she normally putts which is pretty incredible yeah and lisa is a very resourceful player having both a solid backhand and sidearm also sponsored by innova let's give it up for own scoggins and holly own is one of your teammates...
