welcome back everybody to the back nine coverage of round two of the 2021 open at belton presented by disc craft the world leader in disc sports i am brian earhart joined here yet again by kona panas hey brian yeah we're excited to check out this back nine uh i might see a few players start to you know show some good scores so i'm excited for you guys to see it yeah we had kind of a chaotic front nine and you were able to kind of weather the storm and stay steady at even par for that front nine taking the lead by two strokes over valerie who has had a rough stretch of holes losing focus heather young also had a rough triple bogey and uh it looks like it's happening to a lot of your field i know missy gannon is actually the one in the lead on off the lead card she is playing phenomenal right now but i'm sure for you you're not necessarily looking into the scores just yet hole number 10 689 par 4. are you changing your game plan today yes i am i think yesterday i threw like a halo destroyer to beat the wind but we don't have any wind today i actually checked was like oh wow no wind so i blend emperor full power full commitment and this was a big drive you would mention that that emperor was flipping up a little bit giving you that extra forward push and that's way up the fairway lisa's trusty halo turn she could probably just play this around with the jewel bag if she wanted to totally three challenge yeah yeah three disc challenge no problem for lisa and heather's thrown a great distance shot you can tell she is working on her distance trying to catch up to that top level tour distance this was a crush and that beautiful flat slight turn out of the hand dead center and let's yeah quick form check here something that i really like is how short your second step is which gives you the ability to instantly rotate into your throw uh too long of a backstep sometimes causes that spine to bend over fantastic drive from you great placement from heather also about my form not a lot of people think about it but using my left...
