welcome back everybody to the front nine coverage of round two of the 2021 texas state disc golf championships presented by latitude 64. i'm brian earhart joined here again by nathan queen calling the shots what's up nathan doing good man uh coverage here powered by innova and i'm excited to see what we have on the second round of dogwood the the pace has been set the scores are there we've got some guys ready to attack and see if they can move themselves to lead cars we do have a phenomenal card of players matt bell a national tour winner in delaware at a super heavily wooded iron hill course james conrad always good in the woods and then matt aurum and ricky wysocki what a treat and this is gonna be a interesting day there is some uh there's some storm clouds looming in the background today so let's hope the weather holds off for these players yeah very sticky out even while it's not raining you're you're working with everything you can to get your hand to grip the disc correctly so uh hopefully those storms hold off here we are hole one 474 feet par three kind of an in-between hole this is a pretty tough hole to get unless you've got about a 500 hyzer shot yeah and this is a shot again not many players that i've been talking to are are playing this for a park job they're really just trying to get a three here this whole average is a 3.4 there's just a lot of trees blocking a natural flight of a hyzer so let's see what matt has here he gets it out wide this is looking good if it gets around that it looks like it catches the branches on the back side though he is in position for his three james conrad and james having success early on with his new plastic what i like about james is he's just as sufficient with the hard flex as he is with the heiser flip so i'm interested to see how he attacks this course yeah james has always been fun to watch he's got that long run up and he throws the disc so smooth even with all of the movement that he has big stall hyzer out of the hand put a little annie on that threw...
