welcome back everybody to the back nine coverage of the final round of the 2021 texas state disc golf championships presented by latitude 64. coverage brought to you by innova champion discs i'm brian earhart joined here yet again by nathan queen yeah uh looking forward to this back nine we had some struggles on the front paul trying to make a little bit of a move at three down so far everybody else kind of in the even to over range yeah and we've seen that the number to shoot for is 10 down that's usually the round that'll shoot you way up the leaderboard and as you get closer to this top five mark it gets really hard to make those moves forward so paul being three down he has some room to work with but he does have to get the pedal to the middle pretty quickly yeah absolutely and it's a tough thing to do starting on or going into hole 10 here at uh the hardest par four on the course third hardest on round three 681 feet want to throw a forehand up to about this area and then you have another gap to hit going down the hill that you want to finish off to the right on a fast green with pine straw and downhill and we have calvin looks like he's either yeah he's going backhand up the left gap and he has pulled that off to the right and it's not a good or reaction off of that tree there goes down to the left i will so there's been two or three cards when you walk up to this t-pad as well and while you're waiting you get to feel the wind go in every direction off of the tee and paul has thrown a pipe dream perfect shot so good wow he's up there close to the fp yeah it's one of the best backhands i've seen on this hole but it's hard to tell which way the wind is really blowing on this hole because while you're standing there waiting watching everybody else throw you see these flags go in all four directions while it's swirling through this woods and this just misses that tree and this is gonna be a pretty good shot it is a decent position if emerson has room to take an approach...
