welcome back disc golf fans to the back nine coverage of round two of the 2021 stafford open presented by innova champion discs i'm brian earhart joined here by fellow lefty co-host nathan queen nathan uh and i have both been uh mind boggled by some of the shots we saw on the front nine yeah some of these lines are so tight and these guys are just showing so much touch just landing you know in the bull's-eye pretty much just touching it through the woods and we have michael johansen who is chasing down matt oram right now and uh clean front nine for michael johansson we have matt oram who did actually take a uh took a bogey on the front but he still maintains his lead and everyone else is having to chase him here hole number 10 265 feet dead straight again that front tree on the left side creates this kind of staggered window where a hyzer push is a lot easier watch chris villa yesterday throw a flat shot and parked the basket so a lot of different ways to play it but you should mostly see a lot of these push hyzers i stand completely corrected wow we said it yesterday it makes it a much tighter window when you're throwing left to right you know and that flat shot that they're throwing is a tiny left to right shot yeah mario had a little bit of stand up on that where it kind of drifted right he didn't throw quite as stable as villa did mj didn't even look like he was ever gonna hit a tree that's the correction he needed to make from yesterday that's pretty tough to do when the fairway's only five foot wide yeah for real all right so villa knows that he parked it yesterday he's got that same disk ah and that's one of the bigger or the common mistake when you're trying to throw that flat shot you don't want to hit that first tree on the left so you just hang on to it a bit long and justin making the similar mistake off the tee but he does carry a little further up the fairway and this is trouble over here or it's a part nathan at this point it's not trouble at all because anytime chris villa is standing still...
