welcome back everybody to the back 12 coverage of round one of the 2021 santa cruz masters cup presented by innova champion discs i'm brian earhart joined here yet again by special co-host aj risley aj we moved back into the back 12 of de la viega how you feeling still feeling good i mean the weather's still great the card that we're watching is they're i mean they're they're battling the course definitely they're not running away with anything they're not showing the course who's boss but they're battling they're battling they're battling very well and it's and it's pretty exciting to see how they struggle and how they excel yeah de la villega is one of those weird courses that can put players into a lot of uncomfortable situations even though it's a very par-3 heavy course presents a very unique challenge that the players don't see too often on tour yeah totally at least compared to the past couple seasons that we've seen and number 13 is a very unique hole i really like the design on this the big gap in the middle is actually one of the more technical shots the players have to throw a lot of players are going for those smaller gaps on the outside coming in with anhyzer or forehand to avoid having to throw something too overly technical let's see if barsby goes for that outside line as well and he does get around those trees and he gets the skip wow and he's 15 feet from the basket that is a beautiful shot from greg calvin going backhand not yeah he doesn't quite have the same sidearm that greg or nate has but he's got that rock three in his hands yeah going for the anhyzer on the first outside gap i've seen paul macbeth take the same line with the buzz and yeah puts himself to about 40. not too shabby and here's matt with that squall yet again a little bit faster than a mid-range but still when you hold it you can't really call it a driver either kind of a nice niche disk same line as calvin but a little higher this looks fantastic oh picture perfect shot from matt that is phenomenal yeah hits the first gap dead center and then finds the finds the gap near the basket nate going with sidearm i...
