welcome back disc golf fans to the back nine coverage of the final round of the 2021 portland open presented by dynamic discs brian earhart coming back at you one more time with nate perkins wrapping up this beautiful week in portland on the disc golf pro tour and we have a heated race about to finish off right now yeah brian paul had two major misfires on the front whole three all five capitalized on the long putts for par but he is draining him from circle 2 right now yeah and to me that's telling about the back nine there's a lot of holes where you're probably going to have a longer putt for birdie they're very challenging this is one of the longer more challenging backlines we face all season and like you said no one's shot double digits yet not yet we have players in position to do so moving into hole number 10 815 feet uphill gap shot off the t ob left ob right and then we shoot downhill into this protected green you have to get aggressive if you want the birdie here the tee shot has to be far yeah you need 425 to 450 feet sit down that is actually safe there's white painted line but that is for a different hole so he is safe off to the left but he's super far from the basket out there calvin's been smoking this drive i think he's the only player i've seen be able to see the basket after his tee shot i can see why especially if he loses some ground oh he was so close that's so far up there still we'll see if he has the sidearm chops to get one down there i know he does have a solid sidearm but it's still a long shot austin is throwing to this so well right now he also had an exceptional front nine yeah i mean playing a lot of holes as stress-free as you can play them just putting together a lot of really solid approaches on these par fours textbook forehand shots and just throwing big distance shots and keeping up with all of these big distance throwers we have on this card like this man so close to being a full flight i love when you can hear the other players on the card cheering...
