hello and welcome everybody to the front nine coverage of round one of the 2021 mvp open at maple hill presented by mvp disc sports i'm brian earhart joined here by my co-host nate perkins nate me and you have both played this course many times and every single year we come back here it's the same feeling but bigger and bigger and bigger and this is shaping up to be one of the biggest events at this course yet brian where do we even begin the magic that is maple hill and in september we're just 55 miles west of boston it's like a kid took this backyard christmas tree farm and just built the ultimate paradise the ultimate paradise it's like number one course number one course on udisc right now we have a phenomenal card that you're about to see here let me move into hole number one looking over part of the christmas tree farm pretty big water carry and on round one we had a stiff headwind and this was making this opening drive so challenging you have to throw as far as you can with shape to get the distance to then attack this funneling green that has out of bounds all the way around it so distance is key you kind of know when you're able to go for it and here we go matt orm kayla visca jordan castro connor o'reilly highest pdga number to ever win a national tour event this is just a this is an amazing car to start this tournament so connor just won his first elite series event last week at iron hill and kale just walk off aced for the win at a b tier in connecticut just adding to the legend that he already is at 38 years old we have both of them right here on this card and we have matt orm who just dominated the stafford open and jordan castro mvp player that we haven't seen a lot of this year but he looks great this very spin oriented player and you see how much heiser kale is having to jam this shot on to get through the wind but showing off that he's got the distance as well that's one of kale's more underrated parts of his game i think he can smash this that was the ace disk that he...
