welcome back disc golf fans to the back nine coverage of round three of the 2021 ledge stone insurance open presented by discraft the world leader in disc sports brian earhart joining you again with nate perkins and i'm a little sad that this is our last back nine that we get to watch at northwood black this is unlike any other place that i've ever seen i'm with you i'm totally with you i wish that we played it for every round honestly it it's the ultimate wooded challenge i think that it's only going to get better next year as the rough you know kind of gets played on a little bit more and i think that's the only setback of this course is sometimes the rough is a little too punishing literally punishing you up and yeah it's a fresh course but this has been a treat to compete on and a treat to watch this is one of the original holes out here whole 10 400 feet low ceiling dead straight baskets slightly elevated behind these rocks here the grass is just cut short enough to allow some roll rollers and we're going to see straight up flick air shot from andrew marwie this dude is playing so clean it catches a little bit of that ceiling coming out of the gap and that was on a perfect angle he's still inside circle two it looks like joel is also lining up the air shot forehand it is not an easy gap to hit same thing so here's that avenger again that he's throwing an old school batwing avenger this was like a nine speed 10-speed control driver from back in the day emerson going flick as well this looks great chill give the man a putt joel just outside circle two he's just gonna give himself a look up for a three there's no lane up here oh my gosh oh it looks so pure the confidence to throw a pure hyzer putt from that distance is just it's just a treat to see wow emerson really obstructed here oh he was trying to throw it in with the flick putt it looked like yep and now he's back in the woods on the left side no oh and he rolls again back into the woods oh my gosh this is heartbreaking to watch it...
