hello and welcome disc golf fans to the front nine coverage of the final round of the 2021 idol wild open presented by dynamic discs brian earhart back at you one more time with nate perkins and uh we we've said at the past few tournaments were due for a chase card champion and uh i think this is the tournament we're gonna see it at yeah this is this is the course this is the course where something like that could happen title wild is so unpredictable and i think that that's what makes it for me one of my favorite tournaments to compete at and to to watch so you just never know what's going to happen these lines are so tight and sometimes you are inches away from a perfect shot kicking to a spot that gives you a double or triple bogey we've seen it year after year unique card coming at you for the final round every single player on this final round chase card has the power to put it inside circle one luke sampson you may have seen him with the las vegas challenge in 2019 he is big boy great putt throwing castoplast what's not to like and then all these names that we've seen before it's gonna be a show today a little bit of a right to left not the best wind for the max distance line here on hole one as soon as it gets on top of that wing it kind of just draws it down and right yeah if you watch double g winning world's distance i believe it was 2019 you had a similar wind hard right to left jacks it on this steep hyzer flip where the cross one kind of flips it up to flat and then shoves it down so yeah like you said tough win to throw a distance shot in but calvin is really good at these long pushing hyzers so rick's coming into the round five back calvin is six back of paul he came into that one hot right yep just exactly like you said needs more height it keeps getting just shoved down by that consistent wind and they're okay with that miss the miss you can't afford is starting it out too far left and not getting that flip it's all safe on the right side yeah...
